I know Giffords was shot first and didn't have time to react but as I say which you ignore there were 15 OTHER PEOPLE shot. Maybe some of them could have been helped or is Giffords the only one you care about as you keep saying she (only) couldn't have been helped - or - are you implying that guns are not successful in self defence which is documented to be wrong thousands of times.
